The Australian Olive Association National Olive Conference and Exhibition is the premier olive industry educational and networking event in Australia. The 2018 conference is being held at the Rules Club in Wagga Wagga in the Riverina district of southern NSW from Thursday 18th to Friday 19th October.
The program features local and international speakers on a range of topics highly relevant to our industry. Thursday will be a full day of high calibre presentations followed by a dedicated conference dinner at the historic Riverine Club. The dinner and transportation for the evening are included as part of the conference registration fee.
Friday morning has concurrent sessions. One is focused on EVOO production and the other on Table Olive production. After lunch, delegates will embark on a field visit to NSW DPI/ Charles Sturt University Campus for an in-grove panel discussion, learn how sensory testing is undertaken (and test their skills); see how EVOO testing is done, and discover the research capability of CSU. The trade exhibition to be housed in the conference venue will provide delegates with a face-to-face experience with the people who provide the important services that underpin olive businesses. Super Saturday activities
Super Saturday is an optional day. It offers a range of practical hands-on workshops, a field trip, grove walk and pizza night. Participants can pick and choose activities that meet their needs and interests. Each event requires a separate registration and related fee, again included in the online conference registration options.

A conference ticket entitles delegates access to the following:
- All plenary sessions on day 1 and day 2
- A choice of EVOO or Table Olives sessions on day 2
- Day 2 Field tour
- Conference dinner ticket Thursday 18/10/18 including bus transportation to and from the dinner venue (this is not the AIOA Gala Dinner that will a separate event to be held Friday 19/10/18),
- Morning and afternoon teas and lunches on day 1 and day 2,
- Entry to the trade exhibition throughout the conference
- Access to presentations online post event
